I purchased this toe punch from brookefield poultry in QLD. This handy little tool has put an end to much confusion and many headaches! I must admit I was expecting something much larger when it arrived in the mail, but it does the trick!
The easiest and quickest way, is to toe punch them as soon as they come out of the incubator. Ensure you punch right through the skin, otherwise the skin will grow back as they mature.
