Poultry Pavillion Arson Attack
In the early hours on Wed 5th March arsonists burnt down the Poultry Pavillion at the Wynyard Show Grounds. Ten days before the Agricultural Show the poultry shed has been reduced to ashes. All the pens are gone. The new cage fronts we purchased last year are destroyed. The club room didn't burn down, but the heat and smoke damaged almost everything. It is a great loss of fifty years of memoribillia of the North Western Poultry Society. The club is heartbroken but vow to rebuild and go on bigger and better than before.
